Linda Herron Whitesitt

I worked as a cafeteria manager for the schools for 20 years. I also worked for Hancock fabrics for 10 years. I quit working for Hancocks when I got married the second time. I retired in 2002 and have been at home since.

John and I square dance as much as possible. We used to belong to the Decatur 8'ers Square dance club. We now belong to the Stone Steppers.

We like to travel as much as we can. Since this Covid stuff happened, we have stayed at home much off the time.

I enjoyed going to the choir festival in Corpus every year.

My junior year I was captain on the Yellow Jackets. We had the biggest drill team ever.

My senior year, I was in VOE. We won a trip to Kansas City, Kansas for the parlimentary team contest. We rode the train there and back. Mrs. Young had to watch five girls!!!
