Comments:
I attended North Texas and got my BS in 1974 and Masters in Counseling in 1979. I have been a teacher and now a counselor in GISD for 34 years. My wife Beverly attended South Garland High School and graduated in 1973. She is a Librarian at Parson's Pre K center located across the jogging track from North Garland. I trained for and ran road races for many years. I ran the Dallas Turkey Trot for 25 years and the White Rock Marathon 5 times. I organized and ran the White Rock Marathon Relay 3 times.
Beverly and I have visited all 50 states with our daughters. We decided to visit all of the states before they graduated frrm High School. We also visited Canada twice and the Bahamas with the girls. We camped in our pop up in many of the states. We plan to visit many of the states again without kids, especially Alaska. Bev and I plan to visit all the National Parks for our next goal.
Our daughters will be attending Junior College and maybe eventually NTSU. Emily is an artist and Jennifer is interested in Fashion Design and Theatre.
We are members of First Baptist Church in Garland. I have been a Deacon for several years. I am sure that will be a shock to some of you.
We want to continue working a few more years. We plan to be active in our church and travel into our Golden Years.
