Carolyn COCKRELL Musgrave

I graduated from East Texas State University in 1973 and received my Masters in 1978. I taught school in Garland in the 70's and 80's, then went to Richardson. I am now tutoring and substitute teaching with RISD. I have been married to Marshall for thirty years. He has been with Raytheon for 35 years as a Systems Engineer. We have two wonderful children, John, who is an Aggie, and Julie, an OU Sooner. John is here in Dallas and married Kelly Gingerich. (Kelly was the homecoming queen at Garland High School, Class of 2000). Julie is a weekend anchor/reporter for KAMC in Lubbock, Texas. I have a new grandson, Parker John, born June 11, 2009. Marshall and I have recently moved to Garland after spending most of our married life in Richardson. We are enjoying our new grandbaby, our friends, weekends at Caddo Lake, and watching Julie online. Life is good!!!

I remember Friday night Football games! I honestly don't have any stories to tell. I went to class, worked at McKnight Drugs after school, did homework, and went to bed. I was the perfect child! I never gave my parents any reason to worry!!! ha! Then came college....life in the 70s...marriage...motherhood. God has a plan for all of us and I believe mine began after high school.
