Robin HOFFMAN Reynolds

I took Drafting in school and after graduation went to work almost immediately as a draftsperson in Houston. I had my son in December of 1970 and went back to work. Got into Geology/Geophysical Mapping then became a Field Supervisor for Seismic crews. In 1986 went through cancer treatment and slowly got back to work in drafting but was tired of it. Went to Alvin Community College for their special Aerospace Assoc. Degree and in 1994 went to work at NASA/Johnson Space Center for Rockwell/United Space Alliance. Trained to become a Robotics Instructor in the Astronaut Training Department but eventually became the Crew Activity Manager for International Space Station crews 2 and 4. Got to go to the ISS2 launch at Cape Canaveral. Retired in 2001 and moved to Palacios in 2003. My divorced son travels too often to take care of his daughter so my husband of 30 years (6/81), Robert and I are raising our granddaughter Hayley (2/98) and a very smart mutt named Grace. We have added to our family and now have another rescue dog named Chloe. We are very active in the community life of Palacios.
I have become a writer of all things. I am writing fan fiction and have e-published several novels and short stories. I'm working on two of my own novels at this time.
