John Paul Arthur Turlington, 72 of Fort Worth, Texas passed away on November 5, 2021 at home surrounded by his loved ones.
John was born November 4th in Garland, Texas and was the oldest of 2 children and raised by his beloved parents. He served in the United States Air Force for 11 years, The Department of Justice Federal Bureau of Prisons for 26 years and at the City of Fort Worth Water Department for 8 years.
John was a loving, hardworking family man who loved his family and who also loved telling stories, jokes and singing. He loved making people laugh. John taught us nothing in life is free and it must be earned through hard work and determination. He truly will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, James and Marguerite Turlington.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Janie; 5 children; 14 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
