Irwin left us too soon, way too soon. His work in California as a law professor inspired young men and women to become legal counselors with integrity. His personal awards and recognitions at California Western University live on today as students of high ethics and achievement are honored in his name. He made us laugh, he taught us about Jewish life, he was genuine. To read more about the inspiration he continues to be to students at Western in San Diego, California, click here:

Irwin was such a sweet man, and we miss him. Dick, thanks for posting the information about the Professor Irwin D. Miller Inspiration and Acheivement Award; what a honor to him. In memory to Irwin..we had some really good parties in Austin during your college years at UT.

Irwin was one of my closest friends in high school and afterwards. He was  caring, witty, and very intelligent.  During the thirty year reunion Irwin and I talked about how important it was to be a good father as well as a positive role model for our children.  I know Irwin was for Lonnie.  Although we did not really get together as often as I would have liked I still felt that Irwin and I were close. I miss him dearly.
