Bill was an usher at Crossroad Christians Church to which he had been a member for 7 years. He loved serving his Lord and Savior. For his career, he had been employed by numerous business for the last 38 years, making many friends and acquaintances along the way. He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Carol; sons, Brant Wayne Smith and wife, Cassie, and Bradley Wayne Smith; 4 grandchildren; sister, Linda McLeroy and husband, Jerry; mother, Etta Jo Smith; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Leland Smith; sister, Patsy Jo Starr; loving companion, his dog Stormie Girl. Family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Monday, Aug. 3, 2015 at Williams. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2015 at the Crossroads Christian Church located at 6450 TX-360, Grand Prairie, TX 76015, family will receive friends 1 hour prior. Burial will follow at Garland Memorial Park, Garland, Texas.
