I met James when we were in the 7th Grade at Sam Houston. We were friends throughout Junior High and at GHS. James and I were both in DeMolay and our senior year, I started the year as Master Councilor with Paul Payne as Senior Councilor and James as the Junior Councilor. What this meant was I was the Master Councilor for the fall ,of 1968, Paul took over for the spring of 1969 and James took the office from approximately our graduation through the summer. I lost track of him in college, but seeing his name brought back many fond memories. Rest well Brother.
